Wood & Finish Sample

Curious about how our wood products will look in real life? Samples of our woods and finishes help you envision how your door or wood accent will look when it arrives in your home. Our extensive selection of twenty wood species means you can create a perfect door, mantel, or shelf for your space.

Combine your wood sample with Osmo finish to get the full effect. Osmo is a leading European manufacturer of low-maintenance, eco-friendly alternatives to varnish or urethane-based coatings. We use Osmo for our wood finishes because their formulas combine plant based oils and waxes together. Natural oils and waxes protect the wood against dirt, moisture, and other environmental threats while still allowing it to "breathe". The result is a wood product that's protected while still maintaining its distinctive texture. Best of all, you don't have to sand Osmo to reapply it--ever.

Sample dimensions: 4"x 6"

If a finish is selected, we will send the sample with the finish applied.

More info on the benefits of our Osmo hardwax-oil is available here.

The Formulas

The right solution for your project

UV resistant and water resistant, the pigmented versions have subtle payoff that allows the wood grain to show through. Matte to satin-matte finish.

High coverage, semi-transparent to opaque—the stain that’s closest to a paint. This stain requires UV oil with biocides as a sealant over the top. Satin finish.

Sealed with Osmo Polyx Oil, this traditional interior oil stain provides a vibrant finish with two coats applied, or a soft wash of pigment with one coat. Satin finish.

Available in transparent for a subtle wash of color or intensive for a more vibrant payoff. Satin to satin-gloss finish.
